The Skateboard Design and Business Program program provides youth in-risk with knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship, art, design and production processes (wood lamination, silk screening, letter block printing). The program has run three times at PACE@PCVS (Peterborough Adult Continuing Education).
Students are introduced to sculpture by learning to create non-representational works focused on shape, form, texture and color. The highly versitile technique of paper mache is put to good use.
Senior Sculpture students final culminating tasks reflect a variety of production methods and approaches. These fabulous works won awards in the annual Best of High School Art Exhibition.
